Mr. Sharenow is an executive vice president in the Newport Beach office and a portfolio manager focusing on real assets. Prior to joining PIMCO in 2011, he was an energy trader at Hess Energy Trading, Goldman Sachs, and DE Shaw. Mr. Sharenow was previously senior energy economist at Goldman Sachs. He has 16 years of investment and financial services experience and holds bachelor's degrees in mathematical methods in the social sciences and in economics from Northwestern University.

Elizabeth Lilly is a Senior Vice President and Portfolio Manager at GAMCO Investors. GAMCO Investors is an investment management firm with assets under management of over $40 Billion. Beth is a portfolio manager of the $1.0 Billion Teton Westwood Mighty Mites Fund as well as being actively involved in the overall $3 Billion Small Cap Value research effort at GAMCO Investors.
Beth began her career at Goldman Sachs in 1985 in New York. In 1988, Beth joined Fund American Companies in Greenwich CT where she worked as an investment analyst under the tutelage of Jack Byrne and Warren Buffett learning the merits of value investing. In 1993, Beth co-founded the investment firm, Woodland Partners LLC, which focused on small cap stocks. In 2002, Woodland Partners merged into GAMCO Investors. Beth serves on several nonprofit Boards locally in the Minneapolis St. Paul Community and she and her family live in St. Paul, Minnesota.
Beth received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Hobart/William Smith College where she graduated with High Honors. She received her CFA designation in 1989.

John Tousley, CFA is a managing director and head of the US Market Strategy team within Strategic Advisor Solutions at GSAM. His presentation will focus on the latest macro developments with a particular focus on the trajectory of global growth, monetary policy, US elections, and broader geopolitical events. While not in the recession camp, John’s presentation will also address the evolution of risk and volatility across global economies. Following the macro discussion, John will drill down into specific markets including US and global developed market equity, emerging market equity, long-term interest rates, corporate credit, currency, and the energy market. Robust Q&A will be welcome.

John Tousley, CFA is a senior market strategist within GSAM’s Strategic Advisory Solutions team where he co-leads a team of specialists focused on economic and market strategy as well as client engagement on advanced portfolio construction and implementation issues. John has been with the firm 14 years. Prior to joining Strategic Advisory Solutions, he was a member of the GSAM fixed income portfolio management team with a specific focus on municipal, short duration, and multi-sector fixed income coverage. John was named managing director in 2011. He has 23 years of industry experience as an investment professional and portfolio manager. John received a B.A. in Economics from Brigham Young University in 1991 and is a CFA charter holder. John and his wife Christy have three children and live in the Hudson Valley, just north of New York City.
